Former striker Ivan Getsko shared his impressions of the list of players called up to the Ukrainian national team in November.
Ivan Getsko— Only the head coach knows what the optimal lineup is for the national team right now, in what condition the players are, and whom he can use in the matches. Only Rebrov knows who can do everything to make the team win.
They called up Karavaev, but he lacks consistency. Sometimes he plays great games, and other times we just go crazy because of them. Consistency is missing somewhere, although he is already an adult, experienced, and should be playing at one level, but he has fluctuations. The reasons for this need to be figured out. He’s a good-class player when he’s in form. But if he’s in optimal form now, then why not? He’s very good for the attack, and the fact that he doesn’t always retrieve the ball is another question. For the attack, he’s a solid footballer, — said Getsko.
