Former Ukraine National Team Player Left the Country

Former Ukraine national team player Serhiy Zadorozhniy has left the country’s territory.

At the beginning of October this year, media reported that Zadorozhniy had not left his car for more than a day, surrounded by police officers and TCC. It was reported that the coach of the «Borshchiv» football club refused to provide military registration documents to TCC employees.

In the past, Zadorozhniy played for a number of Ukrainian clubs, including «Dnipro», «Kryvbas», «Zorya», «Zakarpattia», Ternopil’s «Nyva», and «Oleksandriya». He also has six caps for the Ukrainian national team. As a head coach, Zadorozhniy led «Nyva» (Ternopil) and the youth team of «Rukh». The last position held by the 49-year-old specialist was «Borshchiv», which he took over in July this year.
