As a result of another week of European competitions, Ukraine improved its position in the UEFA coefficient table.

Recall that last Thursday, during the 3rd round of the main stage of the Conference League, Shakhtar Donetsk defeated Iceland’s Breidablik (2:0), and Dynamo Kyiv left no chance for Bosnia’s Zrinjski (6:0).
As a result, Ukraine moved up from 28th to 27th place in the UEFA coefficient table, surpassing Slovakia. It should also be noted that Serbia, Azerbaijan, and Slovenia, which are in 24th to 26th places respectively, have only one club each in the European competitions, so Ukraine has a real chance to surpass these countries. However, for this to happen, both Dynamo and Shakhtar need to keep earning points.
The final UEFA coefficient table of the current season will determine the representation of countries in the European competitions for the 2027/28 season.
