Kyiv «Dynamo,» having defeated Bosnian «Zrinjski» 6—0 yesterday in the 3rd round of the main stage of the Conference League, tied its club record for the biggest win in the main stage of European tournaments.
Photo — fcdynamo.comFor the first time in history, the «blue and whites» achieved such a significant victory in the 2016/17 season, when they crushed Istanbul «Besiktas» 6—0 in Kyiv during the 6th round of the Champions League group stage. Interestingly, two Dynamo players participated in that match and also played against «Zrinjski» — Vitaliy Buyalskyi and Andriy Yarmolenko.
Additionally, the largest victory for «Dynamo» in European competitions, including qualifying rounds, remains the thrashing of Welsh «Barry Town» with a score of 8—0 in the home match of the 1st qualifying round of the 1998/99 Champions League season.
