«West Ham» presented a special game kit in collaboration with the iconic British heavy metal band Iron Maiden.
The special kit is dedicated to the double anniversary — the 50th anniversary of the Hammers' victory in the 1975 FA Cup and the 50th anniversary of Iron Maiden.
The design of the kit is done in the club’s traditional colors with the logo of the 1975 FA Cup final, the inscription Hammer & Bass on the back, and the Iron Maiden logo in the place of the title sponsor on the chest.
Founder and frontman of Iron Maiden, Steve Harris, has long been a fan of the Hammers. In his youth, he played for West Ham’s youth teams, showing great promise, but passion and love for music eventually determined Harris’s future. Becoming a legend of heavy metal, he continues to be one of the most famous fans of the club worldwide. The West Ham logo adorns the musician’s bass guitars.
«West Ham» ranks 18th in the Premier League standings. The team of Nuno Espírito Santo will play their next match today, November 8, against «Burnley».
