The match was started more actively by the hosts, who possessed the ball more often. However, they did this mainly in their own half of the field, without much advancement forward. In moments when our players reached the opponent’s goal, the opponent managed to neutralize potential threats, so no shots at the goal were taken. It is worth mentioning only Ponomarenko’s shot from the semicircle in front of the penalty area, but it wasn’t very strong, and goalkeeper Bakus caught the ball. Also, Redushko’s promising cross from the left to Ponomarenko in the penalty area, who was ready to finish at the far post, but our striker was briefly outrun by the defender who cleared the ball for a corner kick.
The pressure on the Cherkasy team’s goal steadily increased, and within less than 15 minutes from the start of the match, the hosts took the lead. This was Lyusin, heading the ball into the net from the goal area line after a cross from the right. LNZ’s goalkeeper attempted to reach it to clear it, but the sphere crossed the goal line, and the goal was counted — 1:0. After scoring, the Dynamo players became even more active, constantly creating problems near LNZ’s possession. Particularly active in this regard were the offensive line representatives — Andreyko, Redushko, and Ponomarenko.
But for fairness, let’s note that the opponent also tried not to sit back near their goal. Mention Danykov’s attempt, which was inaccurate, and also the dangerous one-on-one with Surkis by Lepskyi, but he failed to beat our goalkeeper. Meanwhile, near the opposite goal, Buravtsov found himself twice in a striking position. First, Yaroslav delivered a strong shot after which the ball flew over the crossbar. Very soon, from the edge of the penalty area, he aimed for the corner, but fortune was not on his side.
However, Ponomarenko managed to make better use of his moment at the end of the first half: receiving a pass from Andreyko, Matviy from the center of the penalty area hit the right-hand corner of the goal — 2:0. With this result, the teams went to the break.
The second half turned out to be even more fruitful. After the break, Redushko extended the lead significantly. Bohdan took advantage of a cross from Andreyko on the right and from about the corner of the goal area sent the ball into the net — 3:0. Subsequently, our team continued to hold the initiative and control the game. Soon, Redushko took advantage of a pass from Ponomarenko and from the left corner of the goal area scored the fourth goal, securing a double — 4:0.
Just a few minutes later, the rout of the guests was continued by Lyusin, assisted by Andreyko. Pavlo delivered a great strike from almost midfield and also secured a double — 5:0. But our team did not stop there and within several minutes scored twice more. First, Redushko responded to a corner kick and almost without opposition from the opponents directed the ball into the net, becoming the author of a hat trick — 6:0. Subsequently, Ponomarenko scored from the edge of the penalty area — 7:0.
Until the final whistle, Ponomarenko almost scored again with a side bicycle kick, but the ball flew wide. The match concluded with a dangerous free-kick shot by Desyatnyk, which Surkis handled by punching the ball away.
In the end, it was a more than convincing 7:0 victory for the «white-blues». It should be noted that the next match in the U19 National League will see the «Dynamo» youth team play after the break due to national team fixtures. In the 13th round on November 21, our team will play away against «Kolos» from Kovalivka.
