Every day brings the world several famous people who have closely tied their lives to soccer:
Roman ZozulyaKote Makharadze (1926−2002) — a legendary Georgian sports commentator, TV presenter, theater and film actor, and drama teacher. In childhood, Konstantin Ivanovich practiced basketball and was a youth champion of Georgia with «Dinamo» (Tbilisi).
Bernd Schneider (1973) — a German midfielder who ended his playing career in 2009 due to a back injury. Bernd’s nickname is «Fireman.» It is related not to his playing style, as one might think, but rather to his activities off the field. Schneider is part of the volunteer fire brigade in the city of Leverkusen.
Roman Zozulya (1989) — a product of Kyiv’s «Dynamo». He previously played for «Betis» and «Albacete.» Before moving to Spain, he played for «Dnipro» and was regularly called up to the Ukrainian national team, where he debuted in a match against Norway. In that very match, Zozulya scored the only goal. In total, he played 33 matches and scored 4 goals for the «yellow-blue». After finishing his career, he became involved in agency work.
