What does the statistical-analytical platform Wyscout mean by a forward pass? It is a forward pass by which the attack moves closer to the opponent’s goal.
It is counted in three cases: a) if the start and end points of the pass are on the team’s own half and the distance between them is at least 30 meters; b) if the start and end points of the pass are on different halves, and the distance between them is at least 15 meters; c) if the start and end points of the pass are on the opponent’s half, and the distance between them is at least 10 meters.
