On November 14−16, the first championship of the 2nd corps of the National Guard of Ukraine 'Khartia' in applied shooting took place. Twelve teams participated in the competition — ten teams from the corps' brigades, the Corps Management team, and invited guests — shooters from the 3rd army corps.
The purpose of the competition is to increase the level of professional training and improve shooting skills with firearms. Such tournaments have been held in the NGU since 2017, combining classic shooting exercises with elements of unit tactical actions.

Progress of the competition and results
The championship consisted of two stages:
1. Individual score — participants performed five exercises, demonstrating personal skills.
Based on the results of the individual stage:
1st place — Yaroslav Holyk (3rd Army Corps of the Armed Forces of Ukraine);
2nd place — Ivan Bailym (13th NGU Brigade 'Khartia');
3rd place — Oleh Aleksandrov (3rd NGU Brigade 'Spartan').
2. Team marathon — participants performed six shooting-tactical exercises, demonstrating not only accuracy but also coordinated teamwork. The victory was claimed by the team of the 13th Brigade 'Khartia' (Roman Nikatov, Ivan Bailym, Vladyslav Diorditsa). The second place went to the team of the 18th Sloviansk Brigade (Mykola Usenko, Serhiy Kuznetsov, Danylo Oleksyuk), and the third to the 3rd Brigade 'Spartan' (Dmytro Grankin, Dmytro Shevchenko, Oleksii Kovalev). The fourth place was taken by the team of the 2nd NGU Corps 'Khartia' Management (Maksym Holubok, Volodymyr Lysiuk, Mykola Tyutiunnyk).
Taking into account the performances of participants in both stages of the competition, the absolute winners of the championship were:
1st place — team of the 13th Brigade 'Khartia';
2nd place — team of the 3rd Brigade 'Spartan';
3rd place — team of the 18th Sloviansk Brigade.

Words of inspiration and gratitude
’The 'Khartia' corps unites powerful brigades with enormous combat experience. This tournament — the first such event for our corps — took place under the motto “Shoot accurately in a united team, in a united family.” The idea of the competition is to bring us even closer together, to foster the exchange of practical experience. Thank you to everyone who organized these competitions at such a high level, and to each person pushing us toward victory on the front. May every next shot be accurate!' — noted Maksym 'Altaïr' Holubok, First Deputy Commander — Chief of Staff of the 2nd NGU Corps 'Khartia'.
The competition was held with the support of the M-Tac brand. 'As a Ukrainian manufacturer of military clothing and equipment, we have been supporting the Armed Forces of Ukraine for 11 years, including in similar competitions. It is an honor for us to support military sports and such initiatives,' comments Oleksandr Karasev, founder and co-owner of M-Tac. M-Tac developed awards for the championship winners, and the brand also created exclusive commemorative patches for the participants of the competition. Additionally, thanks to the AgroMat company for their support.
