No decisions have been made regarding the venue for Ukraine’s matches in the 2026 World Cup qualifying play-offs

As reported, the semi-final play-off match of the 2026 World Cup qualifying tournament between Ukraine and Sweden (March 26) will be nominally home for the Ukrainian national team. Moreover, the winner of this pair will also host the final (March 31).

However, according to the UAF, prior to the play-off draw, the UAF Executive Committee did not make any decisions on where to hold Ukraine’s home matches in 2026.

Currently, the UAF is analyzing the situation, negotiating with countries and stadiums, and will decide on the most optimal location for matches and the training camp in March.
