English «Birmingham» has presented the project of a new stadium, in which the club plans to invest about 2.8 billion euros.
Official website of «Birmingham»The new «Birmingham» stadium will be called «Powerhouse Stadium». Its capacity will be 62 thousand. The club expects to build the stadium by the 2030/31 season. It is planned that the new stadium will be equipped with 12 smoke stacks, a retractable roof, and a movable field. The stadium’s architects noted that most arenas look like «spaceships,» but «Powerhouse Stadium» will be bright and unique.
Additionally, «Birmingham» competes in the Championship. After 15 rounds, the team is in 11th place with 21 points.
