Sergio Ramos and the management of Mexican club Monterrey are discussing the extension of the Spanish veteran’s contract, reports ESPN.

The footballer confirmed that negotiations are ongoing but did not disclose details so as not to distract the team from the main goal — the playoffs against Club America on November 26 and 29. Monterrey finished fifth in the championship and directly entered the playoff stage.
