Central defender of “Dynamo” Taras Mykhavko assessed the central match of the 11th round of the Ukrainian championship, in which the “white-blues” played a draw with “Shakhtar” (1:1).

— For me, it’s “Classico”. The tension of the match was noticeable. For us and for the “miners”, this is the most important match of the season. The game was tense and interesting.
— In the first half, Dynamo players didn’t manage everything?
— Yes. It was due to our travels. We had two days less time to prepare for this match. We understood that it would be difficult for us to play against the “miners”. “Shakhtar” is always among the leaders of the Ukrainian championship. As for the result, we wanted to score a second goal at the end of the match. But we didn’t get upset, and we will keep working.
— At the beginning of the second half, Dynamo conceded a goal after a corner kick. What were your thoughts at that moment?
— We conceded a rather unpleasant goal; there was confusion in our penalty area. But this happens in football. We only had one task — to score a response goal.
— Did you clearly see the episode with Kryskiv’s rough play against Bilovar?
— It is a tackle from behind, a rough hit; there’s nothing to argue about. But I want to say that such episodes happened again in this match.
— How did the game score go?
— Yes.
— On Thursday, “Dynamo” played in Rome. Did you manage to recover psychologically?
— An unpleasant episode happened to me in the capital of Italy. It was my mistake; I mean the penalty awarded. Of course, I would like to forget that episode faster since we moved on to prepare for the match with “Shakhtar”. But it’s hard. This will be a good experience for me in the future.
