Carragher: „It will be interesting to watch how Man City works during the January transfer window“

The former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher is confident that Manchester City will already be looking for a player this winter to replace the injured Rodri.

„Looking at the center midfield of City, they currently lack the best player in the world in this position — Rodri. Kovacic and Gundogan, both over 30, showed their shortcomings on the weekend against a very energetic Bournemouth team that deserved to win.

I think it will be interesting to see if Manchester City returns to the market in January. I am not sure that these two will be able to keep City on their path to achieving their goals if they are left in midfield until the end of the season,” Carragher is quoted by Sky Sports.
