The head coach of Cherkasy LNZ, Vitaliy Ponomaryov, shared his thoughts on the current 2nd-3rd place of the team in the Ukrainian championship standings.

— It’s too early to talk about the league standings because only a third of the championship has passed. Our primary task remains unchanged — to create a competitive team that will play consistently throughout the season, which is very important. If we manage to achieve this, of course, then we can compete for the highest places.

All the players, the entire coaching staff, and the whole club must work hard to achieve the goal. The competition is serious, and all other teams also want to achieve results, — said the coach.

The head coach of Donetsk Shakhtar, Arda Turan, spoke about his goals and ambitions, as well as the style of play he wants to instill in his team.

«I wouldn’t call my arrival at Shakhtar a necessity to prove something. Rather, my dreams and my chemistry with Shakhtar fit very well together. Success is the story of this club, its DNA. This is a club that has achieved a lot both domestically and in Europe. I believe that success is a habit, and my goal is to help this club regain that habit.

Of course, we want to become champions again: this is our main goal. We are a very young and developing team. Shakhtar has always been a club participating in European competitions. I believe these European matches are vital for our players' experience. That’s why we have goals in the Conference League: we want to advance as far as possible and contribute to the club’s longstanding tradition of participating in European tournaments.

As for the style of play I am aiming for, I will say that in football, individual talent is very important, but I value dedication to the system above all. Because in the long term, it is the system that brings success. It is a system that guarantees collective movement and harmony. While implementing it, I don’t want my players to sacrifice their creativity or freedom. That’s why I emphasize discipline and structure in the first two zones of the field and a combination of talent and freedom in the final third. I also don’t take away their right to make mistakes. Dynamo midfielder Roman Salenko, who is currently playing on loan at Zorya, has recovered from an injury.

As reported by Sport.ua, Viktor Skrypnyk’s team is already preparing directly for the confrontation with 'Oleksandriya' in the Ukrainian championship. Salenko has recovered from the injury, returned to training with the main group, and will be able to help in the confrontation with the Oleksandriya team.

By the end of this week, the coaching staff will also be able to count on the experienced Ihor Perduta, who injured the back of his thigh. There is reason to hope that he will be included in the squad for the next scheduled match.

The debutant of the Ukrainian Premier League, «Epicenter», representing Kamianets-Podilskyi, wants to strengthen its attacking line by completing the full transfer of forward Vladyslav Supriaha.

According to Sport.ua, the coach of «Epicenter», Serhiy Nahornyak, is pleased with Vladyslav’s approach to the training process and believes in the forward’s progress. The club’s management will try to buy out the player’s contract, which currently belongs to Kyiv «Dynamo».

The loan agreement between «Dynamo» and «Epicenter» for the player is valid until the end of the current Ukrainian championship season.

Epicenter from Kamianets-Podilskyi, which hosts opponents at the Roman Shukhevych city stadium in Ternopil for the current Ukrainian championship, will play their next home match at a different venue.

This refers to the 14th round match of the Ukrainian championship between Epicenter and Metalist 1925, scheduled for November 30. It will ultimately take place at the Arena Left Bank stadium near Kyiv, as reported on the official Epicenter website.

«Considering the fact that the Ternopil city stadium named after Roman Shukhevych lacks under-field heating and that challenging weather conditions are forecast on the eve of and on match day, FC Epicenter approached the UPL Directorate with a request to move this match to another sports venue. This is to prevent injuries to match participants and ensure the quality of the match,» the Epicenter statement also reads.

The UAF Referees Committee appointed the officiating team for the 13th round match of the Ukrainian championship between Kolos of Kovalivka and Dynamo Kyiv, which will take place next Saturday, November 22, in Kovalivka at the Kolos stadium (kick-off at 15:30).

The main referee for this encounter will be Andriy Kovalenko from Poltava, who last officiated a match involving the 'white and blue' over a year ago, in September 2024, when Dynamo faced Levyy Bereh away in the previous Ukrainian championship and secured a 3:0 victory.

Kovalenko’s assistants on the lines for the upcoming match will be Dmytro Zaporozhenko (Zaporizhia) and Denys Marchenko (Chernihiv). The fourth official will be Ihor Stashuk (Chernihiv).

The VAR system will also be in operation for the Kolos vs. Dynamo match, under the guidance of Volodymyr Novokhatniy from Cherkasy.

In the 12th round match against LNZ, Dynamo players completed 129 forward passes, significantly updating the season-2025/2026 record in the Ukrainian championship for this indicator. The Ukrainian Premier League has already approved the participants' kits for the game.

«Dynamo» will come out in their away blue kit. The Kyiv goalkeeper will play in black. The hosts will play in white shirts and shorts, while their goalkeeper will wear green attire.
