— In your opinion, will it be possible to hold a full-fledged championship in Ukraine?
— What does Putin want from us? So that we close down, be afraid, not develop, but football is life. Therefore, we must start the championship and show that Ukraine was, is and will be the way it sees itself. Yes, there will be risks during matches, so safety should be in the foreground. We believe in our warriors.
- Can the upcoming season become the most unpredictable since independence?
- It doesn't matter who will be the favorite of the competition in the upcoming championship, and who will win the tournament. It is important that football be as such, so that our international partners can see that Ukraine lives and wants to win the war for its independence.
- How much will the UPL level fall due to the current situation in the country?
“Sometimes you need to take a step back in order to take two steps forward later. Such a situation in which Ukraine finds itself cannot be wished even on an enemy. But I have no doubt that we will soon regain our former level.
We need to talk about the war and, in my opinion, it would be nice if some UPL matches were held in Europe. This is important both for security purposes and for them to understand that it is not because of the good life that our domestic competitions are held outside Ukraine, since the whole world is under the gun of Russia.
