Another video from the front. Soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine showed how, with the help of the American Stinger MANPADS, they shot down an enemy reconnaissance drone Orlan-10.
Orlan-10 is a Russian-made unmanned aerial vehicle designed for reconnaissance. At the same time, the drone has on board electronic warfare equipment that allows jamming GSM communications, as well as simple GPS receivers. "Orlan-10" is capable of flying a distance of up to 600 km, and is actively used along the entire front line.
Let us add that in total during the war, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have already shot down 614 various operational-tactical drones.
Видео и фотография - не соответствуют друг другу! Сбитый ракетой беспилотник "приземляется" по частям. А на фотографии "Орлан" с выпущенным парашютом, который скорей всего приземлили средствами радио-электронной борьбы; повреждения минимальны, соответствуют аварийной неуправляемой посадке. Правое крыло (слева на на фото) - просто отстегнулось, левое - действительно отломалось, но не расстегнулось.
После ремонта можно использовать большинство французских оптических приборов, вот только кацапскую электронику - на помойку без разговоров :)
