Georgy Yartsev died

Famous football coach Georgy Yartsev died in Moscow at the age of 74. According to unofficial information, the cause of death was heart failure, but this has not yet been officially confirmed.

As a coach, Yartsev headed the Moscow "Spartak", "Dynamo" and "Torpedo", the Volgograd "Rotor", as well as the Moldovan "Milsami". Under his leadership, Spartak became the champion of Russia in 1996. In addition, the specialist headed the Russian national team, which he led to the final part of Euro 2004.

The last time in the world of football, Yartsev was seen on July 8, when, together with Oleg Romantsev, he led the game of the team of veterans of Moscow Spartak in the next friendly match of former football players.
