The Kyivans created their first moment already in the third minute of the meeting, when Dmytro Kremchanin burst into Arsenal's goal from the right wing and hit from close range at an angle - the Gunners' goalkeeper Yuriy Yakovchuk reacted to this shot. A few minutes later, he saved his team after a shot by Syzonyuk.
In general, the entire first half was dominated by Dynamo, which, however, was not reflected on the scoreboard. The "white and blue" had the last moment before the break.
The Gunners stepped up and played much bolder from the start of the second half, creating several half-chances, including a corner kick in the 51st minute. "Dynamo" changed many players during the break, and it took some time to get into the game properly.
The Gunners had the best moment in the 58th minute, when Maksym Vorona headed a cross from the right flank from the goal line without any obstacles, but did not hit the goal. Dynamo responded with a moment from Kremchanin, who, being at the goalkeeper's corner, failed to hit the ball.
Dynamo opened the scoring in the 65th minute. After a cross from the left flank, the "fresh" Chernyshov forced a fight on the "Arsenal" defender, who threw the ball to Kremchanin, who headed into the goal from close range. Dmytro Yakovchuk reacted to the first shot, but deflected the ball in front of him, and Kremchanin beat the goalkeeper on the second attempt.
After the goal, the game became more lively. The Gunners immediately responded with a super moment, when Arsenal's number 20 rolled three Dynamo defenders at once in the penalty area, but after a left-footed shot, he hit the post. In a few more minutes, Groholsky "tested" the fresh goalkeeper of the Gunners, who had just appeared on the field, with a powerful shot from the edge of the penalty area.
In the 80th minute, Dynamo doubled their advantage. Ihor Horbach received the ball in front of the guests' penalty area, with one touch he threw the ball through two center backs and with the second sent the ball into the goal past the goalkeeper.
In 5 minutes, Horbach scored a double. After receiving a pass from deep, Ihor freed himself from the protection of two opponents, moved closer to the center and delivered a well-hit shot from outside the penalty area - 3:0. This episode became a turning point in the control match between two Kyiv teams.
