One of the newcomers of the Turkish Fenerbahce, the Norwegian striker Joshua King, shared his impressions of working under the guidance of the head coach of his new team, the Portuguese Jorge Jesus, and also told what he expects from the Dynamo Kyiv match in the 2nd qualifying round of the Champions League.
“I joined Fenerbahce 3-4 days ago and only had two training sessions with the team. But I can already say that in 10-12 years of my career as a professional football player, I have not yet seen such a high level of training as Jorge Jesus. The way we trained during this time is one of the highest levels of training. I can say this with absolute certainty. Our coach is very demanding on details and pays attention to each of them. This applies to both physical training and tactical training.
Now we are fully focused on the match with Dynamo Kyiv. Of course, we need to be 100% ready for this fight in order to count on a positive result. I am sure that we will definitely have chances at the opponent's goal. We want to show all our strength in the upcoming game, to reveal all our current potential. Since childhood, I have dreamed of playing in the Champions League, so I am looking forward to the match against Dynamo with increased impatience. We have a good team, and I hope we will be able to demonstrate it,” King said.
