Former Dynamo Kyiv midfielder Denis Oleinik, who moved from Finnish SIK to Vorskla Poltava earlier this month, spoke about his adaptation to his new team and also announced his intention to become a coach.
“Every day in Vorskla I understand better what kind of football the head coach of our team wants to play (Viktor Skrypnik, - ed.). I really enjoy training under his guidance. Everything with the ball, you have to think. we want to play attacking football. I also really like this.
My dream was to end my career in Ukraine. For four years, I voiced this to the leadership of the SIK. And now, when our country is having such a difficult time, it was simply very important for me to be in Ukraine. And I am glad that we managed to find a common language with the leadership of the SIC in this regard.
Now I want to help Vorskla to the maximum. And I want to take a lot for myself from this time. Not only in terms of purely gaming - I plan to go to coaching courses, so I'm going to lay the necessary foundation for the future now. Moreover, there is an opportunity to learn from a very qualified coach, ”Oleynik told the Vorskla press service.
