There are currently no sub-licenses for showing the World Cup 2022, the rights are fully owned by "Suspilny"

The rights to broadcast matches of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar are currently fully owned by the National Public Television and Radio Company of Ukraine, which includes the Suspilne Sport TV channel.

As "TaToTake" reports, the "Media Group Ukraine" holding previously conducted negotiations regarding the acquisition of rights, but at the time of the termination of broadcasting, an agreement had not been reached. Also, there are currently no sub-licenses to show international championship games. A potential buyout of part of the rights is considered unlikely.

The rights to the World and European championships are always first awarded to the national broadcaster.
