Well-known journalist Mykola Nesenyuk commented on the result of the first match of the Champions League qualifying round between Dynamo and Fenerbahce.

"Personally, I expected much worse. This is a case where it feels good to be wrong. Pumped up with millions of transfers, the club from Istanbul turned out not to be as strong as it seemed at first. "Dynamo", which has lost two players from the main team since last season and has not played a single official match since December of last year, quite calmly repelled the attacks of "downed pilots" led by the once famous Valencia. The task was set not to be missed and it was fulfilled.

Could it have been better? After the game, everyone sat in the locker room in silence - they were unhappy with the draw with Fenerbahce. And this inspires hope - it means that the team did not do what it could and the guys themselves understand it.

We cannot see ourselves from the side. Therefore, I do not share the disappointment of Dynamo football players and coaches. Because, in fact, none of the team's players have added compared to last year. Yet. The lack of game practice in this lineup is obvious. The real one, not the one in friendly charity matches. And that's why I don't consider the result unsatisfactory. In Istanbul, the chances will be the same as in Łódź. It will be a tough game in a week. But now we already know who Fenerbahce is. In addition to the game discipline and extreme dedication we saw in Łódź, Dynamo will need a bit of luck to succeed.

As for the atmosphere around the match, it was not the same as usual. Two thousand Turks, who turned out to be very many in Lodz, plus twice as many Ukrainians, were not "fans". The same was true of the Poles, who made up about a quarter of the audience. Therefore, everything was very friendly in the stands and around the arena. I liked. At least because it made it possible to forget about the war for two hours. Unfortunately, only for two hours..." Nesenyuk wrote on his Facebook page.
