The youth team of Dynamo Kyiv (U-19) last Saturday played the first match of the friendly tournament CEE Cup 2022, which is taking place these days in Prague. The rival of the "white-blue" was the English "Aston Villa U-19".

Dynamo began the match confidently, playing the ball for a long time to feel the rhythm of the game after a long pause. But with really dangerous moments it didn’t work out for a long time. In particular, in the first ten minutes, Salenko's shot from outside the penalty area turned out to be weak and was blocked, and the Locksmith lacked just a little bit to close the cross from the left flank at close range.
Aston Villa, in response, organized a danger at the Dynamo goal, but after a cross from the right flank, the opponent in the fight against Gusev hit his head slightly, and Avramenko took the ball in his hands. In one more episode, again Alexei prevented the English player with an accurate header from closing the flank canopy.
Dynamo put pressure. Gorbach shot above the goal from the penalty line, Bol, who responded to Matkevich's pass from the free kick from the left flank, lacked a few centimeters to close the far post, and in the episode with Yatsyk's slalom pass and a strike of 28 meters, the goalkeeper showed a brilliant reaction, parried the ball for a corner. Just before the break, Salenko had a great moment to open the scoring, but Roman, playing in the penalty area on the rebound after the ball bounced off the defender, shot over the crossbar.
After the break, Dynamo continued to actively move forward. In one attack, the "white-blues" could open the score twice - first, Gorbach's shot from outside the penalty area was blocked, and Pain, after a cross from a corner, hit the crossbar with his head.
The denouement came ten minutes before the end of the duel. The Aston Villa defender played with his hand in his own penalty area, taking Gorbach's shot from close range, the referee sent off the offender and awarded a penalty. Kremchanin approached the mark and clearly shot into the corner - the goalkeeper, although he guessed the direction of the ball's flight, could not parry. In the future, it was not difficult for Dynamo to bring the match to victory.
Let's add that six teams, which are divided into two groups, take part in the tournament. In the first group, in addition to Dynamo and Aston Villa, Slavia Prague is playing. In the opening match of the tournament, the Czech team beat Aston Villa - 2:1. Accordingly, in the final match of the group, Dynamo will play for the first place with Slavia. This fight will take place today, July 24, starting at 18.30 Kyiv time.
Sparta Prague, Palmeiras of Brazil and Tigres of Mexico are in the second group of the tournament. The winners of the groups will play in the final of the tournament, the rest of the teams in the play-offs will play for places from third to sixth.
