Dynamo Kyiv head coach Mircea Lucescu commented on the draw in the Champions League qualification match against Fenerbahce (0:0).
“It was a balanced match, Fenerbahce had very good passes, there were many positive moments from their side. They trained at home, at their base, they were not on the road, like us. Moreover, they had the opportunity to make transfers as the coach wanted.
Many factors were against us, plus the fact that we played on a neutral field. There were many Turks, and their cries could be heard. I expect they will be much better in Istanbul.
We need something different, we played carefully enough not to stumble in the first match in order to have chances in the next game. They had more shots on goal, but we had more clean chances to score," Lucescu said.
