Poland sent PT-91 "Twardy" tanks to Ukraine. In total, the Armed Forces of Ukraine should receive more than 200 of these tanks

Poland continues to support Ukraine in its fight against Russian military aggression. The next military supply from the Polish side was the PT-91 "Twardy" tanks.

According to the representative of the Polish Arms Agency Krzysztof Platek, the first batch of these tanks has already been sent to Ukraine. As for the total number of PT-91 "Twardy" tanks that will be at the disposal of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Polish media previously reported that Ukraine would receive 232 of these combat vehicles, for which, in return, the United States would provide Poland with 300 Abrams tanks.

The PT-91 "Twardy" tank (translated from Polish as "Solid") is an upgraded version of the Russian T-72 tank and was produced in Poland from 1995 to 2002. The main feature of the Polish modernization is the Twardy protection, which increases the tank's protection by 30-70% (depending on the type of projectile).
