Zozulya told which of the Ukrainian athletes donated the most to the army

Former striker of "Dynamo" Kyiv, "Dnipro" and the national team of Ukraine Roman Zozulya told who made the most monetary contributions to his fund.

Zozul's novel

The 32-year-old striker, who has been playing in Spain since 2016, named the three Ukrainian athletes who took the most out of their own pockets at the expense of the charity fund that helps our fighters. Roman Zozulya singled out two players of the Ukrainian national team — Oleksandr Zinchenko and Vitaliy Mykolenko.

However, the largest donation to the fund was made by the best Counter-Strike player Oleksandr Kostylev, nicknamed "S1mple".

"At the start, we lost money, and Zinchenko immediately gave 25,000 pounds, Mykolenko another. All the guys get dumped. I immediately added them to the group, where I told everyone to note how much money they can now drop. Someone immediately gave 15,000, someone - 30,000, someone - 20,000 euros. The biggest donation to my fund was from S1mple. You know, the best player in SS, Oleksandr Kostylev. He immediately gave 1 million hryvnias and 15 thousand dollars. And this is only in the first days of the war," Zozulya said.

It should be noted that Roman Zozulya has been volunteering for the needs of the Ukrainian army since the year when hostilities began in Donbas. The football player helps not only financially, but also buys transport and other military supplies.

Ukrainian football players, who play abroad after February 24, created a fund that financially helps Ukraine in the war against Russia. According to Ruslan Malinovsky, the initiator of such an idea was the former Dynamo coach Serhiy Rebrov.
