German self-propelled anti-aircraft guns (ZSU) "Gepard" have already begun to arrive in Ukraine. According to the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Oleksiy Reznikov, three such combat vehicles are already in the service of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In total, Ukraine should receive 15 Gepard SPAAGs.
ZSU "Gepard" is designed to destroy air targets at a distance of 100 meters to 4 kilometers and at altitudes up to 3 kilometers, flying at speeds up to 350-400 m/s. In addition, this combat vehicle is capable of hitting ground and surface targets, which are at a distance of up to 4,500 meters, even in motion.
