Soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine showed another example of the work of the American man-portable anti-tank missile system (ATGM) Javelin during the hostilities in Ukraine.
A small video close-up shows what remains of the Russian BMP-3 after Javelin works on it. A combat (already in the past) vehicle literally turns into a pile of scrap metal. There is no need to talk about what was left of the BMP crew.
The Javelin ATGM is an American development, which was adopted by the US Army in 1996. The main "highlight" of this missile system is the presence of an automatic target recognition system that uses mathematical tracking methods - this allows the Javelin to maintain contact with the target in flight. The maximum range of the Javelin is 2.5 km.
We add that Ukraine has already received more than 7,000 Javelins from the United States.
Душа радується.
