The return match of the 2nd qualifying round of the Champions League between the local Fenerbahce and Dynamo Kyiv (1:2) held yesterday in Istanbul was not without a scandal.
When the Ukrainian team scored the second goal in overtime, and the current score on the scoreboard (1:2) became such that Dynamo went to the next round, the Fenerbahce fans, powerless in their anger at the opponent, decided to sing a song praising the leader of the under-empire under the name "Russia", the main terrorist of the 21st century, the cowardly bunker gnome and just a gopnik Vladimir Putin.
The reaction from Dynamo to such behavior of Turkish fans was not long in coming: the head coach of the White-Blues Mircea Lucescu refused to go to the regular post-match press conference. Later, the Kiev mentor shared the results of the completed match exclusively with Ukrainian journalists.
