The youth team of Dynamo Kyiv (U-19) has started participating in a new tournament for itself, the FC Aesch Under 19 International Football Tournament, which is taking place these days in Switzerland. In the first match of the group stage, the wards of Igor Kostyuk met with Basel.

Dynamo players traditionally entered the international match with Ukrainian flags. According to the rules of the tournament, the matches were played in the format of two halves of 35 minutes each.
Both teams started the game quite actively, playing combinational, attacking football. At the same time, the White-Blues actively put pressure on the opponent in the other half of the field, even in the opponent's penalty area, which allowed them to open the scoring already in the 8th minute. Igor Gorbach took advantage of the unsuccessful reception of the ball by the Basel defender and practically shot the goal from the goalkeeper's line.
In the 15th minute, Artem Slesar boldly went for a beat in someone else's penalty area and was stopped according to the rules, as a result of which the referee appointed a 11-meter penalty. The penalty kick was taken by the victim himself and shot flawlessly into the corner to the right of the goalkeeper - 2:0.
Having conceded twice at the start of the match, the Basel players began to attack even more actively, and Dynamo began to have even more free zones. At the same time, the attacks of the people of Kiev were much more dangerous. After the second goal, the "white-blues" carried out several dangerous counterattacks on the left flank.
One of them ended with a third goal. In the 22nd minute, Gorbach left several Basel defenders out of work and outplayed the goalkeeper with a beautiful sweeping shot, hitting the far corner of the goal.
A couple of minutes later, Gorbach burst into the Basel penalty area already on the right flank and shot from under the defender exactly into the far corner. The demoralized Basel players went for a break losing by as much as four goals.
In the second half, the Swiss tried to control the ball more and press more, but Dynamo were quite ready for such a development of events. The first 15 minutes of the second half passed without goals, until in the 52nd minute the Basel player in his own penalty area interrupted the Kiev team's dangerous attack with a rough tackle.
The referee appointed a penalty for the second time, which Groholsky undertook to take. Artyom's shot was parried by the Basel goalkeeper, but Aleksey Gusev was the first to finish off — 5:0.
The Swiss managed to score a prestige goal in the 62nd minute. Yuriy Avramenko hit the ball in front of him after hitting from an acute angle, and Aron Akale, who ran into the center, played the rebound.
5:1 - Dynamo starts the new tournament with a confident victory. On Friday at 18:00 Kyiv time, the Kyivans will meet with Fulham, and on Saturday at 11:30 - with the Mexican Tigres.
