Charity Match

EVERTON (England) "DYNAMO» (Kyiv, Ukraine)3:0 (1:0)
Goal:
Calvert-Lwin (4), McNeil (73, 78).

"Everton» (starting lineup): Pickford, Patterson, Tarkovsi, Keane, Godfrey, Mikolenko (K), Doucure, Iwobi, Gordon, Calvert-Lwin, Gray.

"Dynamo": Neshcheret (Boyko, 46), Kravchenko (Tymchik, 46), Burda (Zabarny, 46), Sirota (Pain, 74), Vivcharenko, Andrievsky (Yatsik, 74), Shepelev, Karavaev, Garmash (Besedin, 74), Antyukh (Shaparenko, 35), Vanat (Tsarenko, 84).

After a successful match in Istanbul, Dynamo head coach Mircea Lucescu decided to give a rest to several team leaders in a friendly match with Everton. Perhaps this was the reason that the British left the opponent almost without a ball from the first minutes of the meeting. Dynamo predictably acted as the second number, but conceded a goal already in the 4th minute of the match. After a long pass from Tarkovsky from the center of the field to the Dynamo penalty area at Calvert-Luin, the striker hit his head in touch - the ball flew over Neshcheret into the goal net. 1:0.

Dynamo tried to respond to the "toffees" with something, using the flanks, but all the attacks were easily "read" by the defenders of Lampard's team. Moreover, in the 18th minute, the hosts could have scored a second goal, but Dynamo saved Neshcheret by pulling the ball out from under the crossbar. Lucescu's wards managed to create their first chance near Pickford's goal closer to the middle of the half - Vanat, after a cross into the penalty area, shot with his head from a few meters above the goal.

Then the pace of the game slowed down a bit: the people of Kiev began to have more possession of the ball and make good counterattacks. The same Vanat was active, who in one of the episodes managed to get past several opponents, but his shot was still blocked. Already in extra time by the first half, Dynamo managed to create a second great chance at the Everton goal: Andrievsky shot from a free-kick from 25 meters - Pickford pulled the ball almost from the top nine.

After the break, the picture of the game did not change much - the British continued to control the course of events on the field and create chances at the Dynamo goal. In several episodes of the White-Blues, Boyko came to the rescue by playing reliably after hits by Gray and Gordon. Nevertheless, Everton still managed to double their advantage in the 73rd minute of the meeting: Dwight McNeil, moving from the center of the field closer to the Kiev penalty area, shot from 20 meters - the ball flew into the bottom corner of the goal - 2:0.

However, as it turned out, the British did not even think of stopping there - just a few minutes later, McNeil managed to get a double. After a cross from the left flank into the center of Dynamo's penalty area, the Blues' midfielder easily won the fight on the second floor and shot a headshot from a few meters away - 3:0. In the remaining time, Dynamo tried to close the gap in the score, but the Everton players continued to act as the first number, eventually obtaining a natural victory.

Recall that Dynamo will play its next match in the 3rd round of the Champions League qualification. On August 3, Mircea Lucescu's team will face Sturm in Lodz in the first match. The meeting starts at 21:00.
