The head coach of the Austrian "Sturm" Christian Ilzer commented on his team's victory over "Salzburg" (2:1) in yesterday's match of the 2nd round of the Austrian championship.
“We deserved to win this match. The way we won today makes me extremely proud. From the first minute, our team gave all their strength to the game, and did it at the highest level. This is the most important thing if you want to beat a top team like Salzburg.
Today we did great. But now it is important to properly recover before the match with Dynamo Kyiv in the Champions League qualification, forget about today's success and fully focus on the upcoming match," Ilzer said after the match with Satzlburg.
As a reminder, Sturm is a rival of Dynamo Kyiv in the 3rd qualifying round of the Champions League. The first match between these teams will take place next Wednesday, August 3, in Lodz, Poland.
