Zubkov is again out of Ferencvaros' bid for the Champions League — the Russian continues to be ignored

Midfielder of the national team of Ukraine and Ferencvaros Oleksandr Zubkov will not be an assistant for his team in the last round of Champions League qualification.

"Fradi" was defeated by "Tobol" in the first round of selection, and in the second they beat "Slovan" without problems. Now, the Hungarian champions have their final push before the group stage, a two-legged clash with Qarabag.

Ferencvaros' application for matches with Azerbaijanis has been published on the official UEFA website. Russian coach Stanislav Cherchesov again ignored midfielder Oleksandr Zubkov. This season, the Ukrainian has not yet qualified for the Champions League. The first meeting between "Fradi" and "Karabakh" will take place on August 3 on the road, the return match is scheduled for the 9th.

It should be noted that earlier Cherchesov explained the absence of Zubkov by the need to give him more time to rest after returning from the national team of Ukraine. However, Oleksandr played the last match for the "blue and yellow" on June 11.
