Ukrainian artillerymen continue to effectively destroy Russian equipment in Ukraine. A fresh video distributed by the Armed Forces of Ukraine shows how two consecutive enemy Acacia self-propelled guns are destroyed with the help of the American M777 howitzer. The place of events is Kharkiv region.
With the first salvo, the M777 delivers a precise hit on an Acacia stationed in earthen cover. After that, another of the same self-propelled guns starts to work in response, but is immediately destroyed by the next M777 shot.
SAU 2S3 "Acacia" is a rather old type of weapon of the Russian army. The first samples of this self-propelled artillery mount with a 155-mm caliber gun were produced back in 1968. True, the last modification of this self-propelled guns dates back to 2006. For all the time, about 4,000 Acacia self-propelled guns were produced.
