Liverpool forward Diogo Jota has signed a new contract with the club, the press service of the Merseysiders reports.
The Portuguese will stay at Anfield until 2027. Jota has been rewarded for his excellent performances since his move from Wolverhampton Wanderers in 2020.
“I have to say I'm very proud of it. Since I arrived here two years ago, I have established myself as an important player in this team, which is exactly what I wanted from the very beginning. Now, the signing of a new long-term contract, on the part of the club, is a proof of faith in me," Jota said.
The 25-year-old scored 21 goals for Liverpool in all competitions last season.
