The head coach of the Austrian Sturm, Christian Ilzer, commented on the defeat of his team by Dynamo Kyiv (0:1) in the first match of the 3rd qualifying round of the Champions League, which took place yesterday in Lodz, Poland.

Before the goal against our goal, the game was absolutely normal for us. But the missed ball knocked us out of the rut. After that, Dynamo managed to show their class, but not sharpness and danger at our gates. In the second half, our opponent tried to slow down the game and close the space to give us a sense of possession of the ball.
Our game today lacked the quality, dynamism and freshness to play defensively more reliably. We want to correct this result, and I still believe in the sensation. Dynamo were more efficient today in terms of creating chances. We knew how to play against this opponent, but today we failed to implement it.
