Former Napoli winger Dries Mertens will soon become a Galatasaray player, Football Italia reports.
The Belgian agreed with the Istanbul team to sign a one-year contract with the possibility of an extension for another season. Now the 35-year-old football player is waiting for a medical examination and the completion of all the details of the deal.
Juventus, Lazio and Inter were also interested in Mertens, but Dries did not want to stay in Serie A after nine years at Napoli.
