The former Dynamo defender will continue his career in Italy

Austrian Wolfsberger defender Luka Lochoshvili, who was on contract at Dynamo Kyiv from 2017 to 2020, is close to moving to Italy.

It is reported that Lochoshvili did not take part in the last match of his team precisely because Wolfsberger is preparing to sell him for $1.6 million to one of the Italian clubs.

“Two Italian clubs, Cremonese and Verona, showed great interest in Lochoshvili. From a financial point of view, the offer of both was almost the same, and we left the choice to him. I know that Luca preferred Cremonese,” said Wolfsberger President Dietmar Riegler.

It is noteworthy that Wolfsberger bought Lochoshvili in the summer of 2020 for 200 thousand euros. Since then, the Georgian has played 68 matches for the Austrian team, which helped him make his debut in the Georgian national team in September last year.
