Well-known Ukrainian coach Vyacheslav Grozny spoke about the change of head coaches of Shakhtar Donetsk and Dnipro-1.

— I would not like to give an assessment of the transfer of Igor Jovicevich from Dnipro-1 to Shakhtar for a number of reasons. First: this is coaching solidarity and ethics. Second: because I worked as a coach in this beautiful football city and I always felt supported. Third: I don't know the details of the transition at all. And I don’t think it’s right to engage in unfounded guesswork.

But I would like to note that if earlier the coaches-legionnaires at Shakhtar had a huge carte blanche to invite foreign players of a very high level, now, given the current situation, the emphasis will be placed on Ukrainian footballers following the example of Dynamo. A few years ago, the Kyiv club voiced and began to quite successfully implement its strategy to attract local students to the team.
