Sassuolo is working on a contract extension with the team's main star Domenico Berardi.
A wonderful last season, in addition to last year's triumph of the Italian national team at Euro-2020, attracted the attention of the country's leading clubs to the person of the 28-year-old football player. Juventus, Milan and Roma are interested in Berardi's services.
According to TMW, Sassuolo CEO Giovanni Carnevali met with Domenico's agent to discuss further cooperation between the parties. Neroverdi have offered the player a new five-year contract with a significant improvement in financial terms. According to the current contract, Berardi will receive 2 million euros in salary per year.
Last season, the striker played 33 matches in Serie A, scoring 15 goals and making 17 assists.
