After the victorious match with Sturm, the Dynamo team returned from Austria to Poland and got a full day off to see their relatives and recuperate after a grueling fight.

On the evening of the next day, Mircea Lucescu scheduled a training session aimed directly at preparing for the confrontation with the Portuguese Benfica in the decisive round of the Champions League qualification. The players went to the training charged and "hungry" - it was noticeable that the team was already mentally on the battlefield with Lisbon. All conversations in the team are devoted to the future opponent, because the guys understand that they continue to fight for the honor of the whole country, adding points to the treasury of odds.

The first workout was a pull-in — it started with a functional warm-up, followed by a run, a series of squares, and one-two-touch exercises. Mircea Lucescu and his coaching staff have a rational approach to training sessions, realizing that over the past month the team has received an enormous load, both in the training process and in the game.

All Dynamo players miss home and are looking forward to returning to Ukraine. But the idea that the team gives positive emotions to our people and our warrior heroes during the war makes them put emotions and sentimentality into the background. The team has the only task and goal - the passage of Benfica and the continuation of the European Cup performances in the group stage of the Champions League.
