British football expert Gary Neville believes that Manchester United can finish the season in the second half of the English league table.
"Losing Ronaldo could be a problem for Manchester United. They will not have anyone left on the cutting edge of the attack. If they don't sign new players or if they are bad players and Cristiano leaves, I sincerely believe that Manchester United can finish the season in the bottom half of the table.
I think the level of the team now corresponds to the bottom of the table. They are demoralized and torn to pieces, it's very bad there," Neville told Sky Sports.
Under new manager Erik ten Hag, Manchester United have had their worst start to a Premier League season in 101 years.
