Police in England issued a warning to Manchester United striker Cristiano Ronaldo, who smashed the phone of a young Everton fan, the Daily Mirror reports.
It will be recalled that this incident happened in April. After United's 1-0 defeat at Goodison Park, Ronaldo knocked the phone out of a fan's hands as he made his way to the tunnel.
As the source informs, Cristiano Ronaldo voluntarily turned to the police department and gave his testimony. The football player paid compensation to the fan's family. Merseyside Police conducted an investigation limited to a warning and closed the case.
