Andriy Sanin, vice-president of Mariupol, spoke about the fate of the Azov club's infrastructure.
— There is almost nothing left in our office. Only the walls. Everything that could be destroyed was destroyed. Everything they could steal, they stole. Everything was taken out - batteries, electrical outlets, air conditioners, furniture and other equipment. Locust
There were four arrivals. Ruined roof, wall. There was a hit in the server room, which affected all our databases. All the safes were opened - probably looking for money or something - of course nothing was found. When we return to Mariupol, we will have to rebuild everything from scratch.
Each training ground received from four to eight artillery or mortar attacks. The sports complex "Illichivets" stands destroyed. There is no external lighting. There were up to ten hits on the roof, as a result of which heavy rains flooded the artificial field, which cannot withstand so much moisture and which is now also unusable.
Our stadium is also destroyed. We used a hybrid lawn that requires regular watering to function properly. Due to the fact that there was no water in the city for four months, the field died. There were no flights either. The scale of the destruction is catastrophic, but we will be able to make an accurate calculation of the damage caused only after our victory with the involvement of experts, Sanin said.
