The 23-year-old joined the Blaugrana from Sevilla after being chased by Chelsea for almost a year. However, Kunde has yet to make his official debut for Barca due to financial constraints that have prevented the club from registering him in La Liga. This became possible after the loan of defender Samuel Umtiti to Lecce.
Kunde will be able to play his first official match for Barcelona on Sunday in the 3rd round of the Spanish championship against Valladolid.
