Artem Frankov: "Shakhtar would not have had a chance in the Champions League group stage in any scenario"

Well-known Ukrainian journalist Artem Frankov shared his reaction to the Champions League group stage draw held last Thursday. Recall that, according to the results of the lot, the only representative of Ukraine in this tournament, Shakhtar Donetsk, ended up in a group with Real Madrid, German RB Leipzig and Scottish Celtic.

"Most obvious:

1) Shakhtar wouldn’t have had a chance in any scenario, but here all old acquaintances came across - they played with everyone, sometimes more than once (Real, Leipzig, Celtic); any point will be for happiness - someone thinks differently?!

2) the most offended is Viktoria Pilsen, but Inter also has something to complain about (Bayern, Barcelona);

3) "Maccabi" Haifa also got the full program, but there at least "Juventus" at home can be taken (PSG, "Benfica"); on the other hand - what a full house for all the minorites!

4) a nice and even group A: Ajax, Liverpool, Napoli, Rangers, but something tells me that equality and evenness are imaginary ... ”, Frankov said.
