An extraordinary episode occurred during the return match of the playoff round of the Europa League qualification between the Moldavian Sheriff and the Armenian Pyunik (0:0, 3:2 on penalties), which took place last Thursday in Chisinau.
During the first half of this match, the Sheriff fans hung the flag of Azerbaijan on the stands of the stadium. However, a few minutes later the local police intervened and the flag was taken down.
