Manchester United striker Cristiano Ronaldo has decided to return to Sporting Lisbon. This is reported by the Spanish media.
Cristiano RonaldoAll this summer, Ronaldo has been looking for a club that will play in the Champions League. A number of top clubs refused the services of the Portuguese, and Sporting remained almost the only acceptable option for Ronaldo.
Only a few days are left before the transfer window closes, and Ronaldo's agent Jorge Mendes needs to have time to resolve all the financial issues of moving to Sporting.
Ronaldo is a graduate of Sporting and played for the club until 2003. In the current Champions League, Sporting will play in the same group with Eintracht, Tottenham and Marseille.
