Dynamo Kyiv striker Vladislav Vanat shared his emotions from returning to Ukraine, briefly assessed the Europa League group stage draw, and also shared his expectations for the Ukrainian Championship match against Dnipro-1, which will take place today in Lviv.
Vladislav Vanat- Dynamo returned to Ukraine. Do you agree that it is easier to train on your native land?
“Of course, the native land gives more strength. All the guys have accumulated and are working with double energy and motivation. But I already want to go to Kyiv. I have not been there for two months, and I want to return to my hometown. Although here we are well received.
- The opponents in the group stage of the Europa League are already known. How can you comment?
— Yes, we will play against good teams. I believe that we need to once again prove to the Turkish fans and Fenerbahce that we are stronger than them. As for the other two opponents, they are strong teams and it will be interesting to play with them.
— The players made their predictions before the draw. Have you guessed anyone?
- I probably wanted Zurich, because a Ukrainian plays there (Bogdan Vyunik. — ed.). And so I didn't care who to play against.
- What can you say about your closest rival - Dnipro-1?
- A good opponent, a lot of qualified players came. I think that they have a team of a fairly high level and will fight for the highest places this season.
